Description Metacaulk® Wrap Strip is a strip of highly intumescent firestop material used primarily for plastic and insulated pipe applications. When exposed to heat, this product expands and forms a hard char to seal off the penetration preventing the passage of flames and hot gases.

Installation Data Metacaulk Wrap Strip is simple to install. Tightly wrap the required number of strips continuously around the penetrant to completely fill the annular space or as required by system design. Push the strips into the opening to the required depth. If a cold smoke seal is required, apply the recommended sealant in the opening over the strips.
